The Lost Puppy and the Unexpected Friend

迷子の子犬と意外な友達

英語ストーリー

Lily loved her puppy, Max. He was a small, fluffy terrier with big, brown eyes. One sunny afternoon, Lily was playing fetch with Max in the park. Max, being a playful puppy, chased a squirrel and ran off. Lily called and called, but Max was nowhere to be seen. Tears welled up in her eyes. She felt lost and scared. Just then, an older boy, about ten years old, approached her. He had kind eyes and a gentle smile. "Lost something?" he asked. Lily explained about Max. The boy, whose name was Tom, offered to help. Together, they searched the park, calling Max's name. After about fifteen minutes, they heard a faint bark. There, hiding under a bush, was Max! Lily was so relieved. She hugged Max tightly. Tom smiled. "He's a cute puppy," he said. Lily thanked Tom profusely. That day, Lily learned the importance of staying close to Max and the kindness of strangers. She also made a new friend.
