Summer Practice at the Pool
夏のプールでの練習
英語ストーリー
The summer sun beat down as I arrived at the community pool. I was determined to improve my swimming technique. My goal was to swim at least twenty laps without stopping. I had been practicing diligently, but I still felt a bit nervous.
I started slowly, focusing on my breathing and stroke. The cool water felt refreshing against my skin. After the first five laps, I felt a surge of confidence. My technique felt smoother, more efficient.
However, around lap fifteen, fatigue started to set in. My arms felt heavy, and my breathing became more labored. I considered quitting, but then I remembered my goal. I took a deep breath and pushed myself to continue.
Finally, I completed twenty laps! A sense of accomplishment washed over me. I felt stronger and more confident in my swimming abilities. The hard work had paid off.
