A Shooting Star's Wish

Lily loved looking at the night sky. One night, she saw a shooting star! She quickly closed her eyes and made a wish. She wished for a puppy, a fluffy white one. The next day, Lily’s parents surprised her. They had a present for her! It wasn't a puppy, but a beautiful, soft, white toy dog. Lily was so happy! She hugged the toy tightly. Though it wasn't exactly what she wished for, Lily felt grateful. She learned that sometimes, even if your wish doesn't come true perfectly, good things still happen.
