My First Loaf: A Baking Adventure
初めてのパン:ベーキング冒険記
英語ストーリー
I've always admired the artistry of baking, especially bread making. The smell of freshly baked bread is simply irresistible. So, last weekend, I decided to challenge myself and bake my first loaf. I followed a simple recipe I found online, carefully measuring each ingredient: flour, yeast, water, and salt.
At first, everything went smoothly. Kneading the dough was surprisingly therapeutic, a satisfying workout for my arms. I let the dough rise in a warm place, watching with excitement as it doubled in size. However, when it came to shaping the loaf and placing it in the oven, I encountered a problem. My loaf was rather…flat.
Despite its less-than-perfect appearance, the bread tasted delicious! The crust was slightly crispy, and the inside was soft and fluffy. Though my first attempt wasn't picture-perfect, the experience was incredibly rewarding. I learned a lot about the process, and I’m already planning my next baking adventure. I'm determined to improve my technique and create a truly magnificent loaf.
