A Hectic Airport Experience
慌ただしい空港体験
英語ストーリー
My flight to London was scheduled for 8:00 AM, so I arrived at the airport at 6:00 AM, allowing ample time for check-in and security. However, things didn't go as planned. The check-in queue was unbelievably long, snaking through the terminal like a giant python. I started to feel a surge of anxiety; I was already running late.
After what felt like an eternity, I finally reached the counter. The check-in agent, thankfully, was efficient and quickly processed my baggage. Then, the security line was even worse! It seemed everyone in the airport was trying to catch the same flight as me. I muttered under my breath, hoping to avoid a missed flight. I finally made it through security with only minutes to spare before my gate closed.
Despite the chaotic start, I managed to board the plane just as they were calling final boarding. I found my seat, breathed a sigh of relief, and settled in for the long flight. Although stressful, the experience taught me the importance of arriving at the airport even earlier than recommended, especially during peak travel times. Next time, I'll aim for at least three hours before departure!
